Spun Polyester

Spun polyester threads are created for use on industrial and domestic machines. They feature twisted yarns to create a smooth, consistent texture suited to passage through a sewing machine.

Core-Spun thread features a central polyester core thread that is wrapped in either polyester (poly-poly) or cotton (poly/cotton) threads. The manufacturing process creates a high-quality, strong, elongated thread with low breakage, twisting or knotting.

Staple spun thread is created by twisting high-strength staple threads together. These threads do not contain a core and have less tensile strength than core-spun threads. Staple-spun thread is manufactured under tension which enhances strength and colour lustre.
